There are certain time that you want to Hide Images From Android Gallery. I believe that you know the reason why you wanted to hide them.

To get to the point, all you need to do is create a blank file (it can be a text file) and rename it .nomedia and put it in the folder that contained images that you want to hide. You may need a powerful File Explorer such as ES Explorer to create the file. If the images still appeared in the gallery, you need to unmount and remount the SD Card(Memory Card) and restart the device.
Unhide Images From Gallery
To unhide the images simply delete the .nomedia file from the folder. If the images does not appeared in the gallery, you again need to unmount and remount the SD Card and reboot the device.
How To Unmount And Remount SD Card
To Unmount the SD Card go to Settings»Storage and scroll down till you find Unmount SD Card.
Tap on the Unmount SD Card. If you got any warning, just tap OK and your SD Card will be successfully unmounted. To remount, you need to do the same thing. The only differences is that instead of Unmount SD Card you will see Mount SD Card.
