Do you want to change your avatar in your WordPress site but don’t want to use a Gravatar? If so then you are at the right place. To get started with this tutorials, you need to download and activate Simple Local Avatars plugin in your WordPress site.
After you have activated the plugin, navigate to Users Settings > Your Profile. Now you will see one new option “Avatar“. Under this option just click on the Choose File or Choose from Media Library and select your image file that you want to use as your Avatar.
Leave the Rating option to the default value (You may change it if required) and click on the Update Profile. That’s it. You can check your Avatar by hover to the top-right portion of your WordPress site.
